Electric & Rose was born in Venice, California, inspired by the effortless, eclectic, and always-alive energy of the coast.
Rooted in 70s surf culture and the creative spirit of the neighborhood we call home, the brand reflects the rhythm of life by the ocean. Venice serves as the backdrop to many of our campaigns, not as a trend, but as a constant source of movement, color, and individuality.
Born in the home of co-founders Erin & Eric, the brand began with a simple belief: life is better when you’re wearing clothes that move with you, and when they’re full of color. In the early days, Erin was inspired by traditional shibori tie-dye techniques, hand-dyeing pieces in her backyard. What started as small-batch experimentation grew into a signature. While we’ve since outgrown the backyard, many of our pieces are still hand-dyed right here in Los Angeles, California, honoring that original spirit of craft and creativity.
We design coastal clothing inspired by women who live it. Women who want comfort without sacrificing shape. Ease without losing intention. Pieces that can be woven into everyday life. Never basic, always expressive.
As we’ve grown, our commitment to doing better has grown with us. We prioritize ethical production and support local dye-houses, thoughtfully minimizing our footprint wherever possible. Through our 1% giveback initiative, we support organizations that protect the oceans and communities that inspire us. With our re-loved shop, we keep our pieces in motion, extending their life and keeping them out of landfills.
