WFH Q&A with Creative Director, Erin Chiamulon

When did you start Electric & Rose?

My husband and I started E&R 6 years ago when we couldn't find any activewear to fit our vibe. Since then we've grown to become an active lifestyle brand.

How has it been running your business during COVID-19? Are you stressed? How are you taking care of your mental health?

The first couple of weeks were particularly stressful because we had so many wholesale cancellations. The uncertainty was and still is hard. But an amazing thing happened. We connected with so many of our specialty stores helping make sales on Instagram and it made us feel so grateful for our incredible community. There was even a day when one of our customers sent us a voicemail DM from Germany saying she was selling out of our Sunset leggings with closed doors working alone at her store. It made me so emotional!

I still get stressed but one thing that really helps is giving myself one hour of me time everyday to workout. This helps me be the best version of myself. I also love getting outside, taking a walk or bike ride, and now that it’s warmer and the beach is open, a dip in the ocean.

Are there any unexpected things you're loving about being home?

I actually have a lot of things I love about this time at home. My son, Oliver, is 21 months old and is changing so much. It’s been a blessing being home and getting to witness it all and love on him.


I love jeans and a white tee but quarantine and jeans do not agree. I’ve been living in my Sunset leggings and our colorful sweat sets make me so happy. My new favorite though is our solid onyx Neil Sweatshirt and Vendimia Joggers!

What are you doing with your skincare routine this week?

Since having a baby my routine has shortened quite a bit. I always cleanse at night and make sure my skin is really clean before applying products. I usually use a serum and than a moisturizer. I have a few favorite brands: Biologique Recherche, OSEA, and Skin Ceuticals.

Are you staying healthy or opening the wine?

I’m staying healthy! I actually started Teddi Mellencamp’s All In program and lost 20+ pound in the last few months. It was easily the best choice I ever made.

If I’m not using my Peloton treadmill, I love Melissa Wood Health!

Music that makes you dance and lifts your mood?


Transports you to a specifically sentimental nostalgic moment of your past?

Bruce Springteen, Born in the USA (will always remind me of my Mom) and the Lumineers (Coachella with my hubby… Dead Sea is one of the most beautiful songs of all time).
