DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

The tie-dye inspiration came from Erin’s love of shiburi, a Japanese manual resist dyeing technique that produces patterns on fabric. What started as a hobby making these creations with family and friends eventually inspired the hand-dye techniques Electric & Rose has become known and loved for.

MADE IN LOS ANGELES

Erin and Eric grew up in Los Angeles and when they started Electric & Rose it was with the utmost importance that their clothes were made in LA supporting local economy and fellow family owned businesses that work with natural fiber materials and sustainable dye processes. Always striving to be more sustainable, our packaging is made from recycled material and collections are made to order. The idea is to have as little waste as possible. These choices separate us from ‘fast fashion’ and excessive waste. We do this because at the end of the day we value our people and planet over profit.

COMMUNITY

We love to partner with local, family-owned organizations, like the LGBTQ Center in West Hollywood, Rock The Vote, and the Surfrider Foundation, that are like-minded in social and environmental change. This allows us to expand our connection to our community, and provide quality clothing to all.
